We have classes for beginners on Saturdays in Rugby, available to those aged 8 or over. Please fill out our enquiry form<\/a> and we will be in touch shortly. Here’s what to expect:<\/p>\n Our Friday evening session in Weedon can also accommodate beginners, though due to space and personnel constraints it would not run as a formal 6 week block.<\/p>\n Fencers who have completed a beginner’s course, or have at least equivalent experience, can sign up to one of our weekly sessions as a member; the cost is \u00a328 per month for each session (i.e. 2 sessions per week is \u00a356\/month). Sessions run on Fridays 19:00-20:30 in Weedon, and Saturdays 09:00-10:30 (small fencers approx U11) or 10:00-11:30 (older\/more experienced) in Rugby. Please contact contact@radfencingclub.co.uk<\/a> to enquire about availability, as some sessions are quite full. You must hold a valid British Fencing membership.<\/p>\n The membership fees are about 15% cheaper overall than paying ad-hoc.<\/p>\n Where there are sufficient coaches present, club coaches may be offering 1-to-1 lessons, which are available to people paying monthly membership.<\/p>\n A member is also entitled to vote in the Annual General Meeting (and any Special General Meeting, if one is called).<\/p>\n Non club members who hold a valid British Fencing membership can take part in our Saturday 10:00 or Friday 19:00 session via the Pay-as-you-go<\/a> page. This is also open to visiting fencers from another country, provided that you hold valid insurance (please put your own association’s membership number, or other insurance ID, in the box for BF membership number).<\/p>\n At present we only have epeeists in the club (though this is not intended to be exclusive – if a group of foilists\/sabreurs wished to join please do get in touch).<\/p>\n\r\n\n
